Golfkeel Cottages have launched their new look website.

The new website offers visitors an insight to each of the luxury self catering cottages based in Banbridge, County Down. There is an option to book online. Other information on the website allows visitors to check prices and read more about the local attractions on offer and things to do in the area.

The website was designed by Kuba Creative.

When it comes to tourism in the Banbridge district Golfkeel Cottages is top of the class, having scooped the prize for Excellence in Tourism at this years Leaders Business Awards.

Twelve years ago, under the guidance of owners Oonagh and John O'Neill, Golfkeel was sympathetically converted from barns dating back over 240 years.

On receiving the award Oonagh said their success has been in impressing visitors in the past who then returned to the area.

Once again the Giants Causeway drew the biggest number of tourists in 2008, confirming its position as Northern Irelands most popular tourist attraction.

In 2008, six of the top ten attractions drew more visitor numbers compared with 2007 with an impressive total of 9.9 million visits to tourist attractions during 2008!

Places of worship and wildlife/zoo attractions enjoyed the largest growth in 2008 compared to 2007, up from 28% to 42%.
